I used reef crystals for awhile and had some major issues with consistency on ca, alk and mag despite mixing up the salt before using. I got tired of having to dose my nsw every batch so I switched. Rscp is very consistent with advertised values from my tests.

That totally makes sense. I don't have SPS now, but when I have my new tank set up and start SPS again, I'll probably end up switching salt mixes. I used to use AV Salinity but didn't like that it mixed up cloudy sometimes.

And now you can punch in the batch number and RS will give you the EXACT numbers for your batch of salt!
