Time to renew if you haven't already

Hi all,

Well I have a list of the paid members to send over to Dave at Kermit's tomorrow and there are only 21 people on it.

Your membership contributions are how we pay for meetings, door prizes that aren't donated, club supplies and activities, and special events like the frag swap coming up.

Now that all the membership is getting entered into a database, members will receive announcements via email of meetings and special events.

Don't be left out of the loop! Time to step up. I'll be ordering cards one week from today (Friday) so if you want a new membership card soon you will need to get in on this first batch.

You can pay with PayPal at membership@wtmrac.org or go the the website and hit one of the pay buttons on the "application" tab. Or PM me if you want an address to send a check.

I faxed a list of everyone whose payments have been received through the end of the day yesterday (Friday).

If you're not on the roster and think you should be, please contact me. Dave is very generous to offer the club discount and it isn't his job to keep up with our membership. So if there is a problem, it's my fault and please don't bother Kermit's employees with it in any way.

There are 27 members or families renewed now and more than 40 people or families who have been members in the past but have not renewed this year.

I sent out an email this morning to past members encouraging renewal of membership. To do things like frag swaps and T shirts and club activities, we need support from the membership. With more membership, we can afford to do more of the tanks in the schools, purchase better equipment for loan and some of the other ideas we've talked about.

If you're out there participating and have not yet renewed, please join back up and support WTMRAC.
