timer on tunze?

im intrested in the non-speed controlled tunze stream ! cant afford one with the controls right now ! but can they be ran off a wave timer with out causing damage ? any help would be great !

No. You can use a basic household timer with one hour intervals but the pump must run for at least 1hr before turning off again. The off time can be any duration.

The unidirectional mechanism we use cannot take frequent off and on use. Every start up the brakes engage and it takes time for them to fully retract or else they will lock up and be destroyed. The electronic pumps are an exception because when used with the controllers they have a computer program which ensures they only spin in the correct direction regardless of the brake mechanism so it isn't called upon.
