How do you all feel about this scape

I like it. I would take the one green frag on the flat rock from the left rock pile and make that as your peak on the far left. That would help give that pile additional height and it will look even taller because you have a valley in between.

Some really great inspiration in this thread!

My tank is 60x36x24. Let me know what you think!

HELP! i need some inspiration.. I have a Trigon 190, ( Bow fronted corner tank for those who don't know ) and I need some aquascaping inspiration.. Any one scaped one of these bad boys that I can crib some inspiration from?

I have all my rock drilled on acrylic rods so stacking is simple.. but need some inspiration on where to stack.. I want to try the 3 point rule.. but this is hard to achieve in a tank with 3 corners ;)

I don't think I posted mine since I finalized the design. These are pics without water. Tank is cycling right now.

Tips and Tricks on Creating Amazing Aquascapes

image.jpgThis is my first tank, Red Sea Reefer 450 and thus first attempt at aquascaping. Not sure if I have too much rock. I kind of like how the Pukani came out on the right side. The left side not too sure. Thanks in advance.

I agree, the left side needs some work. Maybe make it so the left side trails down in front of the right side.

BTW, Go Rangers!

Tips and Tricks on Creating Amazing Aquascapes

Thanks for the suggestion, I was planning on adding some live rock when I actually get water and sand in the tank, so maybe I can add it to that portion of the scape.

Playoff hockey has prolonged the setup.

I would ditch the egg crate. The amount of crap that will settle in there will blow your mind. Plus it's bad for anything that burrows

I'm glad people are still finding my article helpful and, i appreciate all the kind words =) I have been out of the hobby due to some health issues, but im in the planning stages of my new shallow reef build. I will try my best to help you guys with any advice or questions you may have!

To be honest, a few of these are done so well that they look fake! I've spent H O U R S trying to make it look like some on here... maybe I'll just stick to music :spin3:

Upgraded to a 75 recently and have been waiting on my reef rocks while reading this thread. They have arrived and i tried to put it together with some flow and depth. The left side is I a descending horseshoe. Kind of hard to see with the base rock.
