Tips on getting Clownfish out of the corner

I've had my clowns for a month now and they never leave the front left corner of the tank. Well sometimes they swim to the front right corner but they stay on the glass (glass surfing), or up and down the glass. The tank isn't 6 months old yet so I don't have an anemone. Is there any tricks to get these clowns to stop glass surfing?

It could be a flow thing in the tank...I know mine did the same thing when they lived in a frag tank. I had a maxi-jet that pointed diagonally and did not leave many dead spots. I ended adding a circulating flo director that broke it up, and the clowns ended up swimming all over the tank.

Do they have places to hide? My clowns didnt leave the corner until I had enough rock that they could dart into a grotto when they felt threatened. Also they were kind of picky about the lay out of the rock.

If your parameters are good after 6 months I would say try a BTA. Ive added them way before 6 months and have never had one die.

Mine did this as well until I got a RBTA. They hosted it within 24 hours and protect it with their lives lol they rarely ever stray far away. And I added it way before the 6 months also. Just make sure your water Parameters are stable and you have adequate lighting.
