Tips to get a seahorse being treated w/Diamox to eat?

Any tips? The seahorse has been in the hospital tank for 3 days treated w/Diamox to alleviate recurring gas bubble. It is on the tail portion and the most improvement was shown the first day.
It is day 3, and I don't see him improving, he is still tail end bouyant, has energy to swim around and hitch.
He hasn't eaten, but acts like he is going to snick, and passes it.
Will getting ghost shrimp and gut loading with cyclopeeze help?
Any other tips?
He is getting very skinny and I am worried.

Ghost shrimp enriched with beta glucan would be my best bet. Make sure you get smaller ones so he can snick um.

If that doesn't work, we'll go from there. Does he try to snick at all?

what species do you have?

when all other foods fail to tempt them i give them live mysid.

It's an adult Reidi, male, virgin.
He does not snick at all. Just zones in, and then passes over it.
I had ordered Vibrance from OR, is that okay to use with ghost shrimp?
I would have to order live mysids...I think I will go and do that now, just in case.

Also, shouldn't I be seeing results by day 3? Should I continue Diamox until 100% no matter how long? Does Diamox fix this problem all the time?

i caught a bubble early and it cleared up in 3 days. some are more stubborn and will require longer treatment or possibly retreatment.

i'm assuming he ate the day before diamox, correct. if he won't eat the ghost shrimp and you can't get mysid by tomorrow, i might be tempted to stop the diamox, let him eat (unless you want to tube feed), and then readminister. i just think not eating for more 4 or more days is really pushing it, JMO.

Good news, I bought some ghost shrimp and he ate. Bad news was that it was not gut loaded.'
The LFS told me to try to put a couple in, just to get him to eat. He says sometimes if the shrimp is off color or flavor, that may encourage them to not eat the shrimp.
So I put some cyclopeeze in with the shrimp and then put those shrimp in the hospital tank (that's all I had avail. to gut load)
Nano- the horse is hitching properly (head up, tail wrapped around a plastic tong) but once he lets go, he has bouyancy issues. My question is, how long is the longest I treat with Diamox before taking a break? How long do I break before retreating?
