TMax on the move?

My blue T.Max clam has been doing well in the system for almost a year now. 75g with 2x 250w MH 14k, and 2x 110w URI 03...

Recently I lost my otherwise healthy Crocea Clam... And now my T.Max has decided it no longer likes it's high up rock perch, and has detached it self. I have tried for about a week now to get him to stay put in the same spot he was, I just can't!.

For now I put him on the sand bed... Any suggestions?
All corals and fish are healthy and open. I thought he may have moved do to an encroaching Acro, but there was still about 1.5" / 2" space.

I feed PhytoFeast 2x a week. As well as Arctic Pods, and other foods.

Ok now it seems the clam has lost his foot....
When lifted up to inspect, it does not look open, but it's definitely not as meaty as it was. :(

have you changed light bulbs lately? If so he might not like the brightness of the new lights, try putting a layer of window screen over the tank where it is located for a week or so to dim the light a little. the foot should be fine they do that, he just doesn't like that location for some reason. any other possible changes??

Nothing major was preformed on the tank...
Lights where replaced from XM 10k to Hamilton 14k, but they have been running now for over 4 months.

My PO4 was a little high 0.5, and NO3 was 50, but I suspect they could be up do to the death of my other clam only a few days ago. I just did a 20% water change. SG has been stable at 1.025... Temp has been 78F to 83F, pH 7.8 to 8.1, dKH 8, Ca 430.

Mine did this. Did he leave behind a white thing with string all over? If so mine lived after this, I didn't move him after he made the jump and hes doing great. Just let him stay in the sand.

mine did the same thing. He lost his foot a month ago or so but still manged to wiggle himself of the flat rock I had him on and onto the sand. He has been on the sand for a few weeks now and seems to like it.
