To late for Favia

OK, so I just had to move my tank =/. I was 90% successful. One of the containers I had, had a heater malfunction and the box rose shortly to about 90 degrees before I caught it. My claim seems to have recovered to a point where I think he will live.

However my Favia has a clear whitish skin (what looks to be his old tissue around it and brown jelly like stuff inside. How do I know if it is to far to be saved (I believe it may already be). I will try to get pictures tomorrow.

If it's got brown jelly disease then get rid of it before it contaminates the rest of your LPS corals. Brown Jelly Disease is extremely deadly for LPS corals. Play it safe.

How long have you have the affected coral? Can brown jelly disease be brought on by a temp spike or stress if not exposed prior? I had some issues with my zoas being affected by a stressful situation recently an half seemed like they had a fungus, but I feel like they just melted/died from stress or bad water parameters.
