Toadstools fighting?

A while back I bought a small rock that had two of the same toadstool on it. For the past few months they've been happy and growing like crazy next to each other. On has moved off the original rock but the are still able to touch. Now it seems like at any given part of the day either one or the other is closed up. Is it possible they're exchanging blows? The only thing I changed about the tank before this started is I took my blue lights from 70% to 75% and whites from 25 to 40.

Same type corals may set a border but won't attack eachother. From my research anyways.

Well maybe what Ill do is take the one toadstool thats now on a small rock and alone to a buddies tank or see if I can get trade in on a new frag of something else. No need for attitude in my small tank... Except from my six line HAHA
