i've had my two saddlebacks for about two months and were doing awesome! and then this morning i found my female on the floor....

That's too bad. I had a fish jump out of the tank and ended up in my dogs mouth for about ten minutes. Luckily I found him and put him back in the tank. He is still around. Not a scratch on him.

i had almost the same thing happen. my gf was wrapping presents and i was sitting im my chair in the living room when i hear a wet slap on the floor. i jumped up to find my female percon the floor. i got her back in the tank. she ended up being ok, but i have since put the covers back on my tank. she was able to get through abot a 3in gap between the light and top of the tank.

I have lost a few fish to their suicidal acts such as JUMPING. Cover your tank with eggcrate or glass.
