Today's the day - I'm SOOOO excited.

I've done my research, established my tank and today - I can hardly contain myself - I pick up my new inhabitants. They're young - about a year - and are already a bonded pair.

Got a BB AGA29. Sunpod 150 MH with a one month old phoenix 14,000k bulb. 85 x turnover so lots of nice flow.

1 skunk cleaner
1 deer cowrie
3 mexican turbos
3 astreas
2 nassarius (who are surprisingly happy in a BB - they sleep in rock caves.
Zillions of breeding stomatellas

I don't have my nem yet and after my babies arrive I'll be asking what folks recommend based on my fish species, tank size etc.

And that's all I'm saying so far....sorry this is my teaser thread (gotta enjoy every minute you know lol)

I have one Q. for those with clown/nems species tanks....if I need to rearrange my rocks today....if you were to aquascape to feature 2 clowns and a nem at their best would you do this....

Thanks all

:D

Thanks Crustman,

that's the one I liked too...and of course it's NOT the one I have so I'm going to roll up my sleeves and get wet right now lol.

They're here...yahoooooooo

introducing Pablo and Paloma Picasso (ORA "B's") I've wanted a Picasso for so long. Can't believe I have a bonded pair.

Here they are - thanks for letting me share my excitement.

Thanks. I'm really happy. I think they're sick of me sitting with my nose on the glass hehehe.

I'm planning on a RBTA. Wish I had it already for them but that has to be next months purchase.

Thanks Slakker.

The rocks are Marshall Island from Premium Aquatics. I'm not sure they are shipping them anymore though :( . I've had them for 1 1/2 years already in a different tank. They are nice rocks - awesome shapes.

Thanks Charlie :)

I love that last picture..you can't see where one ends and one starts.

They seem to have settled in fine so far. I fed them a little RODs food and they both ate.

:D

Beautiful clowns, I want that male. Your tank is lookin pretty swell too, I was wondering where all the nose prints came form. : )

Those are beautiful. I understand the concept of what makes a Picasso a Grade A or Grade B, but that pair is definitely as beautiful as any grade A pair.

Congratulations! :)

Thanks michellejy,

visually these two have great patterns. My local LFS "Oasis" here in Redmond is an ORA dealer and these two were brought in as babies a year ago and have been together in their display tank. I got lucky :D

Thanks Kim,

I like how many holes the rocks have for my future bubble tip to get a foothold. I've got a couple of SPS frags, a few zoas and a couple of 'shrooms but that all until after I get my bubble established. One thing I'm also doing is attaching zoas to the bottom..so far only two tiny colonies :D

I've had that Maxima for a year now and she's moved - on that rock - through three tanks lol. She's in this one to stay now though. This tank is her "forever home" ;)
