Tomato Clown Abuser

I have a very abbusive tomato clown that loves BTA so much that he rubs them to death. He will litterly hammer on them and beat on them trying to show some clown love but in the end he has killed three already and I'm not putting in another one. Is this normal for this species of clown?

My local LFS has this breed and they say the same thing that they will litterly rub a BTA to death.

Ideas?

I've had skunk clowns and Maroon clowns do this. My clarkii actually killed a condy by hosting it to much. But I've never heard of a tomato clown doing this.

Tomato clowns are not a breed of clownfish, they are a species.

Anyways, on the topic of this thread, how big is the clown and how big are the BTAs you are putting in? IMO/IME, smaller nems with largish clowns don't work out the best with very "loving" partners. If you haven't tried this with large BTAs, it might be worth a shot.
