Tomato Clowns???

ok so i just bought a pair of clowns
they are in a community tank with some polyps...if i want to get them to breed how might i go about this

You could try
Increasing water temp to 80 F
Add a nightlight to stimulate moonlight
Offer live brine shrimp
Increase photoperiod from 12 hour to 14

Remeber you are trying to simulate nature and they spawn in summer so that's why you should try doing most of the above

i cant increase the temp...although i could try...how would it effect the other fish???

i have a moon light on it

i dont know where to get live brine i cant even hatch it the LFS dont sell it anymore

ill try to increase the photoperiod it is about 12 hours

Increasing the temp will only effect the other fish by making them think it's summer

Stability is the main key. Follow the advice given above, but don't constantly mess with things to try and make it exact. Just establish a routine and SATURATE feed....you'll be good to go. Good luck and keep us posted.

Yeah just try not to disturb them as much as you can and nature will take it's cause and FEED, FEED, FEED!

ok would adding a BTA and another fish do anything

Adding a BTA wouldn't pose a problem, but adding another fish to the social structure could be problematic.
