tomato or cinnamon clown

How can you really tell the difference? And does it really matter?

I would like to try and get a mate for mine, will they pair up like pecs and oci? I know pairing tomatos in general is much more difficult.

I have a clown that was labeled Cinnamon, but am unsure. Trying to get a pic.

Very dark body, redish orange fins. Pelvic fins have black edge.


EDIT. I read Tomatos have a red pelvic fin. Cinnamons have black.

The easiest way is to tell the color of the pelvic fin. Tomato's will have the orang pelvic fin and the cinnamon's will have the black pelvic fin. This typically will play more in effect as they get older as they should be pretty easy to tell apart as juvenilles. Yes the cinnamons and tomato's will pair like the other clowns do.
