Tonga fighting conch vs. nassarius

Thanks for the info! I will be there on my way home today. :D

Does Tongan fighting conch spend more time eating detritus or algae?

I visited Pet Dolphin village two weeks ago. They had several conches for sale. But the staff doesn't know exaclty what kind of conch it is. He told me that conch is detritus eater. Actually I am looking for snails which eat algae on sand. My cerith and Astrea don't do that. I already have lots of nassarius which take care of detritus.

Aquatic gallery in milpitas has the tongan fighting conch - they are very effecive at eating detritus/algae off the sand - they will even eat cyano

I was thinking of changing it but then thought it may attract more people reading this thread. :D

I was in ultimate Aquarium yesterday and found they only have queen conch. There is a huge Niger trigger though.
