Whoa! Thats a lot of babies! How did you get them all transferred over into that tank? Did you pull the pot? If so can you post pics of your setup you used to aerate the eggs to hatch?
Very nice. Your going to need a good bit of rotifers
How many eggs do you think your maroon's are laying? 1000 or so?
Thanks for the pics. Its looks great. How come you use the hardline instead of the bubble wands?
They get all the wat to the night I expect a hatch then they just don't hatch. I pulled the first clutch and they all turned white the next day and rotted, the second clutch I left in and they were still there in the morning then throughout the day they disappeared. I assumed that they also dies and the male ate them throughout the day.
Does that sound like what yours did?
What did you do to work out the flow issue? Where did you position things?Nope, I killed all mine right after hatching. I created some funky flow and trapped them under the pot. :lmao:

I haven't worked it out yet...will have another shot this weekend though.
The last time I tilted the pot so the opening was facing about 45 degrees towards the tank top and put a round airstone in it. The bubbles hit the pot right by the eggs and exited above them, but it didn't work (not sure if it was the eggs or the hatching method that cause the issue though).
I put a piece of PVC under my pot to elevate it slightly(still cannot see the eggs) and run my airstone in through the back hole.
I don't follow...got a pic???
