tons of tiny featherdusters

I have tons of them in my sandbed and I am noticing that in the heavily populated areas the sand is becoming concrete. I am guessing it could be due to the stuff the excerete. but anyway I want to thin the population down drastically! I am talking hundredsd of these things.
would an arrow crab do it? any fish recomendations?
