I've noticed 3 white spots, appearing to be pimples coming from underneath the skin of my Percula Clownfish. I figure it must be ick.
So if I put all the fish in my 10gallon quarantine tank for 6 weeks under hyposalinity, would it be too crowded?
I have:
2 Percula Clownfish (2.5" long & 3.5" long)
1 Damselfish 2"
1 Mandarin Dragonet: 2.5"
1 Lawnmower blenny: 3"
All fish are pretty small for their species except the Clowns. I know it would seem pretty crowded for 10 gallon, but would it work for the 6 week time period? Or do I need to buy a 20 gallon QT tank?
On a separate question, does ick attach to the Mandarin and can the mandarin be left in the display (where it can eat pods)- because I heard Mandarins are pretty much 'ick resistant'.
