ok here s what I have and what I want to have.

purple tang
marron clown
3 chromis
neon damsel

what I want to add is :
Red sea salfin tang
Sohal Tang
extra long nose butterfly
7 lyretail anthias
goby

and that would be it. i have a 125 tank and 100 gallon sump and a pretty big skimmer.

You have a Purple Tang and a Maroon Clown, very aggressive territorial fish. You need to add fish that are equally as aggressive or the Tang and Clown may harass the newcomer to death. A Sailfin needs a bigger tank, as does the Sohal which gets VERY mean

What about an Arc eye Hawkfish? It will not be bullied [ or another Hawkfish]
A Dottyback or a Wrasse [not both]
A dwarf Angel might work
Bluethroat Trigger would be good

I don't think a sailfin needs a bigger tank until it gets above 10 inches. I have had one in a 125 for almost 2 years and it is doing great. mine is growing about 1" per year. it is around 5" now.

I think the total load of fish you want is too much however. really in my opinion that second group of fish by themselves are a lot for a 125(even with the big sump). I do not know much about sohal's so I am not sure if they are ok in a 125. do you have any corals/invertebrates?

The anthias are a huge bio-load on your system. The sailfin with get huge, and the Sohal is going to be very mean and does need more space. Also with what you currently have it is going to be difficult adding new tank mates. My Maroon would not tolerate a new addition to their space. The female Maroon in my tank is 5-6" and the BOSS

I think the list looks pretty god. I wouldn't get the sohal it will get way to large for your tank. A group a anthias would be nice, but I would get a smaller group for a tank your size, say 4-5. I think the other fish you will be alright, but you have to watch for aggression form the clown, but the varies with each indiviual fish. I have had curbing tang aggression, by adding a mirror to the side of the tank when I add a new fish. The tang goes after the reflection instad of the new fish.

that sounds like a good idea with the mirrors. I was only thinking of the three tangs becasue I thoguht it was better to have the odd number so there can't be any one one fights really. but if not the sohal than which other. I know my list is varied from different areas but I wanted to try and keep mainly red sea fish. As for the corals, yes I have some but not many yet. I plan on stocking up but with small pieces. I built to reef pillars on either side of the tank so I have more swiming space so when i get more corals they will have to be samller so i can stack them.

Surpriseingly the maroon clown is very mellow I thought it would be more agrressive but maybe becasue it samlelr it not mean yet. and as for htat neon damsel i might get rid of it since its really not doing anything for me.
