My tanks has 1000's of mini brittle stars, It is a heavilty stocked 70 gallon. I feed one cube/day and change 15 gallons/week. I have a DNW 110 octopus skimmer. I dose vodka. I have a very small algae problem (bryopsis) Are all these starfish an indication of high nutrients?

I would think so.....

set up a little trap.....catch the 1,000's you have.....pm me with paypal info.....I will send money for shipping cost!

Bah, just leave the little guys in there, they arent doing any harm are they?

Agreed, Im not looking to get rid of them. I know they are good for the health of the DSB. I guess with no predators it is natural for a few to turn into 1000's over time. I only see them during the "sunset" and dark periods if i feed the tank. After feeding the tanks the sandbed turns into a garden of little arms reaching out while the majority of the body stays buried.
