Too many T-5's??

Honestly, while the pure actincs give out a deep purple look and bring out some of the greens, they don't do very much. They give off very low par and your corals don't really use that type of spectrum based off what have read.I would switch two of the pure actinc with a true actinc made by GE. They give off a nice blue and really brings out some nice colors. I use to have two pure actinic on my T5 tek fixture but as soon as I switched out one of the pure actinic with a true actinc, it made all the difference. I really enjoy the new colors it brings to the tank now.

The Actinic plus is a blue looking lamp with good PAR. The Pure Actinic is violet and doesn;t do much as far as light or PAR, just pops green fluorescence.
