Im in the building process of my 10 gallon tank at the moment and wanted to take a pause to figure out if a clam would be a wise thing to put in my tank. This is a standard AGA 10 gallon tank and is going to have a 150W DE setup with Phoenix 14k bulb as the only light source. The rest of the tank will be all SPS. As far as flow goes my return pump (and only source of flow) is a Quiet One 4000 at about 5' of head which I believe will push between 600 and 700 gph. Now on to my question....I believe I have plenty of light and water quality will of course have to be pristine for the SPS but will this be too much flow for a 2 or 2.5 inch crocea clam?
