Just wondering if this would be too much
i currently have 2 250w 20k xm's and was going to add 2 actinic o3 and 2 10k t5's all bulbs 28w.
any vote
yay nay?

wouldn't be too much. The T5s won't add much PAR. I'd say 250w 20Ks are on the low end of light as far as PAR goes.

28w t5? those are NO?

4x 54w T5HO whould give 50% more PAR (20k Xm aren't that high)

Add either Blue+/Actinic blue and maybe a 6500k?

what about if bump up to 20k radiums?

It doesn't really matter what brand you choose. As long as you use 20k bulbs you wont likely get comparable output to a reputable 10k bulb set up. Adding the T5s is a good idea. Like suggested I'd go with 54w bulbs with at least two of them white.

spend some time on this site testing different bulb/ballast combos:

I assume you have single ended bulbs but if not, go with the Phoenix 14K DE bulb. Lots of blue and PAR. As you move up in the Kelvin range, your blue will increase and your PAR will decrease. With the 20Ks you will not need supplements unless you are looking for lights to run while your MHs are off. You could move to a 14K (The Aquaconnect bulb has decent PAR) and supplement with the T5s or some VHO. PAR (or PPFD as measured in Sanjays site) is a measurement of the useable or available light or radiation for corals.
