Nice David, tank looks great. How do you like the linka star? I have always wanted to try one but never had the courage or enough info to give one a shot.

Looks good !

How long have you had the blue star?

I've always wanted one myself but read they dont last long ???

i have had mine for a while now . the trick is to acclamate them slow when you add them to your tank. i dripped mine for 3 hours and matched salinity with a refratometer. when both were the same( about 3 and 1/2 hours later) you can add him. also salinity must never swing. water changes must have new water that matches salinity exact. you also need tons of rock work as they crawl all over . i would say one in a 55 gallon is all you can have. the algea they eat is found all over the rock . ussually two in a undewr 100 gallon will cause lack of food issues. if you have any issues keeping any other starfish species...and get a lot of leg rot (bacterial infection) i wouldnt try linkas at all.
