Top 10 Nano Reef FIsh

garden eel? They can be REALLY hard to care for. Not recommended for that small of a tank since they are carnivorous. Meaty proteins soil the water a lot faster.

ok wasn't referring to you cherub, I was directing that toward the person that asked about an eel in a small tank :)

lol sorry. I probably missed. Didn't read to much. But that thread of the Magrove is pretty cool :)

ok now all 3 kids are in bed. I'll go back and check what I missed :o

ok I see it now. Our postings are only 4 minutes apart. Very possible I was typing as cherub was posting. Sorry for missing it.

I have a black cap. They can get rather large, are pigs, like to "rearrange" the tank, and are not the best tankmates for timid, peaceful fish.

All these fish do great in my JBJ 12g nano! Let me know what you think.

No one has mentioned the Fridmani Pseudochromis tank bred or neon Pseudochromis tank bred that I have seen? I am guessing because of their aggressive tendencies at times. I am looking at getting one of these, always liked them and they will add nice color contrast. Has anyone tried one of these sometimes temperamental little guys? I am also looking at adding the 6 line wrasse. The purpose of these two is twofold, one I really like their personality and movement (more so the 6 line for movement), and they control any unnecessary worms. If I do go with these two, which I hope to, they will be the last editions to the tank, letting the other more peaceful members get acclimated.

Here is what I plan on putting in my 28 nano when it arrives (being delivered atm). I will narrow down my list by a few when it comes down to it, but these are all possible contenders. I know fewer fish generally is better, but how many could I effectively keep with my corrals?

*Tail Spot Blenny (if any bad algae they control it ..woot)
6 line
Fridmani Pseudochromis or neon (hopefully)
*Banded Longfin Basslett
Greenbanded Goby
1 Purple Fire Goby
1 Orange Fire Goby
*percula clown tank raised
*Yellow Watchman
Hi Fin Red Banded Goby
Blue Flasher Fairy Wrasse

*asteric denotes reserved spot in my tank, others are up for grabs...
