Top 10 Wrasses

Hello:wave:. im setting up a 180gallon reef tank and want mostly Wrasses. Was thinkin between 8 and 10. BUt want the best of the Best. Dont really care about the money side of things so What would be the top 10 Wrasses???

wOw.... that would be an awesome house for fairies...

Pair of: HI Flame wrasse, Golden Rhomboid, Lineatus, Laboutei, and Hooded... since you don't mind prices... maybe switch out the Laboutei or Hooded pair for an Earle's pair ($1800 / pair)...

Sort of think, you're going about this the wrong way...'Best' is subjective, and will probably end up as a list of most expensive. I think you should be much happier with picking out the wrasses that YOU like best (regardless of price)...for the most part, the friends that stop by to see your tank, will be more impressed with your $20 Nemo, than your $200 flame wrasse. ... I have a Lunarae and a Marble, both adults and they look beautiful. I had an Exquisite and the guy jumped out. Wrasses are excellent jumpers. I will add another one soon, but I believe the next one will be an Aussie Tusk.

Good and peaceful fish, just make sure you don't have any invert that will fit the bill.

I LOVE my Flames I had just a male and recently added a female. They are so personable and beautiful to look at. Also I really like the fact that they are really mellow.
Other then that:
2. Chaotic
3. Lineatus Wrasse
4. Melanurus Wrasse
5.Divided Leopard Wrasse
6.Possum Wrasse
7. Bird wrasse- not exactly reef safe. I had one for over a year before I got it a new home. Really cool fish.
8.Broomtail wrasse- Another not very reef safe wrasse. Talk about teeth. But really nice colors and cool look about them.
9. Yellow coris -IMO Very underrated
10.Red Velvet Wrasse
