Top 10 Wrasses

From those who I have spoke with who have dove in their range feminus is somewhat common, common enough not to demand the price. Problem is they ship horribly and they aren't collected often. I think mt top two may have to be femminus and a healthy trio of choati.

its funny that Choati Leopard Wrasse is on a lot of lists, but has anyone here kept one alive more than 6 months?

I would go the pair route...

1. Male Flame
2. Female Flame
3. Male Rhomboid
4. Female Rhomboid
5. Male Labouti
6. Female Labouti (might be harder to find)
7. Male Lineatus
8. Female Lineatus
9. Radiant
10. A leopard of some kind.

Steve, that's great news about your choati. Funny I was just wondering that the other day.

Mystery Wrasse - is one of my favorite fish, in general. I like the orbiting eye socket movement & its swimming movement.

1. Feminus
2. Lennardi
3. Earles Flasher Wrasse (pair)
4. Trio of Flames
5. Pair of Lineatus
6. Red Sea 8 lime flasher
7. Pair of johnsonis
8. Paracheilinus piscilineatus, the Mauritius flasher wrasse
9. Pair of Bealles
10. Hooded fairy wrasse

That would be quite the colletion. However i have no idea if these would all get along together.

My list would include:

1: Earlei
2: Rea Sea Eight Line
3: Naokoae
4: Belle Flasher
5: Hooded Fairy
6: Johnsoni
7: Nahacky's Fairy
8: Lineatus Fairy
9: Rhomboid
10: Laboutei

3. Paracheilinus nursalim (Flasher) Wrasse Super Male
4. Johnsoni (Fairy) Wrasse Super Male

9. Naokoae (Fairy) Wrasse Super Male
10. Red Line (Flasher) Wrasse Super Male

Also special mention: (Male) Anampses femininus

It is really funny to look at the lists of what was available 2 years ago and what is available today. Earlie's, feminus, bellae where a pipe dream of a fish 2 years ago and today they are available, although expensive. I wonder what wrasses will be the must haves 2 years from now.
