I love lps corals and was wondering what everyone's top 5 most wanted lps corals were.
Seems like there are diff. fads for different years, whats "In" in 2008?
My top five would be... well maybe top 7:
- Aussie Acan
- Aussie Elegance
- Chalice (rare colorful ones)
- aussie scolymias
- Mirco/blastomussa
- Duncans
- Dendrophillas
Good questions, mine would be:
1. Rhizotrochus typus
2. Balanophyllia (1 of each type)
3. Dendrophyllia (types I don't have)
4. Red Tubastrea (a real/natural red one)
5. Some other tubastrea I don't have.

1. Baby's Breath Favia (Favia sp.)
2. Orange or red Fungia ( I have an orange one-Finally)
3. Acanthastrea lordhowensis. (Ok, I surrender!)
4. Any of the rarer Favid Genera (Oulastrea, Diploria, whatever.)
5. Any really good color morph of Scolyimia or Lobo.
Rhizotrochus typus - a real healthy one
Balanophyllia
Dendrophyllia - any that stay open under mh's
Monomyces - i had the chance to buy one but didn't want to spend so much just because its "rare"
acan hilae or bowerbanki, something to go with my lords
Acans and micromussas are all the rage right now, and word is "favia" will be hot later this year, but here's my list
Multi colored or odd Trachyphyllia color morphs
Multi colored or odd Scolymia color morphs
Multi colored or odd Cynarina morphs
Chalice
Red, Pink & Purple, Goniopora/Alveopora
i really love the scolys but price dictates that i settled for a nice cynarina. just got some pretty sweet micros tho and of course love my aussie elegance!
