Top Down Photo Box for Raffle

Hey Guys,

I was in Ohio yesterday, and basically driving past the guy's house who built my tank... so I stopped by and asked him if he still had any photo boxes left from the frag swap. (Since there seemed to be some interest in photo boxes the other day). Anyway, he does, and while I was there, gave me one to donate to the PMAS raffle tomorrow. Just wanted to give everyone a heads up.

Also... for those that did not win the photobox, if you are interested in one let me know, and I can give you the contact information for one. They sell for $40, and there are 2 sizes available. A smaller one which works for P&S cameras, and for those of you who use auto focus... As well as a wider one for those of you that would like to have the option of adjusting your lens to manual zoom/focus.

This is a well built photo box! Worth the $40!

One question, what are the 3 screws for?

No problem. Keith is the real person we should thank for donating it! :thumbsup:

The screws are for mounting the camera to the photobox... some people like to drill a hole, then physically mount the camera to the box (like a tripod). Then when you move the camera, the box moves with it. I was using a Point and Shoot camera with mine, so I never installed it.

You'll have to post some pictures once you have an opportunity to try it out. I was amazed how different my reef and its inhabitants looked from the top down.

There is no comparison for sure. Mine is a piece of crap that I built myself, but the shots I am able to get with it are awesome.
