Top down shots

Here ya go, kinda messy right now and I have to work out how I want to position things but it gives you an idea.

There's a 10g tub underneath with a skimmer, heater and some live rock.

I'm not sure yet if I'm going to make it down to Cbus.

Thanks. Very nice set up. Do you do manual (5 gal) bucket water changes? What's the capacity of the top tank?

The tank is a 60g Deep Blue Edge(capacity is 50g)...........I got it locally from Reef Oasis. There are less expensive models that aren't rimless or one without the overflow, but I wanted something nice in case I decide to do something else with it down the road.

Honestly you could probably buy a vat or runway tank for much less and the same capacity. That's what all the vendors/propagators usually use.

I do manual 10% weekly water changes.

Hi Ed, so the sunpower has 3 coral+ and 3 blue+.
What is the distance between the waterline and the t5 unit.

Yes on the bulbs

I set the distance of the bulbs 21" from the floor of the tank to the lights. This is exactly the same as my display.

Ed, Did you ever get your hands on Pearlberry? I have a mini-colony I could give you. Would love to trade for a piece of the red-tip acro you have. Do you still have that colony? I've never seen it anywhere other than in your tank

Just a excuse to see again your pictures [emoji23]

Incredible colors and tones.

I know you like don't add too much products and feed to much. I'm feeding more than usual following your comments with good results.
I'm only adding iodine and potassium

Are you adding anything?

Thanks

Aussie Ice Fire

Each and every picture is breathtaking. I am lost for words.

I am particularly astonished by the above picture because I did not realise that this coral can extend polyps on its body. My echninata only shows polyps at growth tips.

Thanks, I don't add any trace supplements or coral additives/foods.

I feed the fish well and the corals get everything they need. Trace elements are replenished through my water changes.

Unbelievable mixture of colours

Thanks!

Wow! Absolutely stunning, crazy colour.
I'm going to have dreams about that boy blue and pink shortcake.

Thanks Matt............ the Boy blue has really become a stand out in my system. The shortcake was bleached when I got it and I'm very happy how it has turned out so far.

Thanks Bulent I appreciate your compliments.

Holy moly man thoae are some insane color you are pulling. Still using the old 1 b+ to c+ ratio bulb combo?

Thanks and yes same combo

Holy smoke! Saturated colors with all your corals. And great photo skill you have.
What salt mix do you use when you do your water change? How frequent do you do the water change?

Big E, how is that pink lemonade doing from the winter swap?

Hi Bob,

It's growing good now.........about a 2" mini colony. Color needs some work but it's getting low par Coral+ and no Blue + because of where I have it on the rack.
