Anyone know anything about Top Fathom skimmers? I found a Top Fathom TF200 that i may be able to trade my Aqua remora pro for. How do they skim? Anyone have any good or bad to say about these skimmers? I have about 150 total gallons. Any info would be great. Thanks
seem costly for what appears to be a DIY type skimmer, although I am sure it works better than a remora The tf 200 is a 6" diameter body by 24" that should work much better than the remora, but for a 150 systems I would look at an aquaeuro classic 250 or an octopus nw200.
I own a Top Fathom HOT skimmer. I used it on my 55 gal. FO tank for about 10 years. They worked as advertised; a lot of brown skimmate, easy to adjust, and easy to clean. Every once in a while run warm water through the venturi. Set it and forget it.
