Can they still live without tissues? People said they normally never regrow the tissues.

Where did they lose tissue? I sometimes accidentally suck a tentacle or two in half off my fs and torches and they regrow the tentacle usually within 48 hours.

Pictures would probably help. If there is nothing left but the skeleton, then the coral is dead and it will not come back. If the tissue has just recessed a little or it has a small injury then it's possible for it to recover. But it would be important to figure out what caused the injury as the coral won't be able to recover if the problem still exists.
