hello fellow lps keepers!!
my frogspawn and torch coral have been in my tank for no more than 4 hours and its tentacles aren't out and for the torch coral it has holes open which i think are its mouth ??
is this normal, how long would it take until they fully spread there tentacles (idk what they are called)
cheeeers

Watch the "mouths" does anything come out of them? They look like barnacles to me.

Also the picture all the way to the right is a Frogspawn.

If nothings coming out they're either not barnacles or they are dead. I've had some hitchhike on Euphylia's in the past. I lost a head on my torch that had one next to it. Not sure if it crowded out the head and killed it or it died for other reasons.

And I see you did say Frogspawn in the original post. Sorry for being that guy that didn't read closely enough.

Barnacles are weird little filter feeders. It kind of looks like a fan that sticks out of the hole and then gets sucked back in really fast.

Each head would have a mouth in the center unless it's splitting, then it would have two mouths that move further apart until it splits.

I think it has split the skeleton is in a very weird and squashed v shape so u think everything is fine with my torch?
