I should have a pic in the next couple of days thanks to Benihana i am anxiously waiting it's arrival. I have another green torch but it is like a light green not this nice dark color.

I love torch corals.
I don't know much about them however. Are they compatible with other corals? Or I guess my question is what are the negatives about having one in one's aquarium.

from the one i got today any of the ones that have long tentacles will need a sufficient amount of room. That is the only negative that i know of.

Exactly...give them plenty of room and there are no negatives!

Awesome, thanks! I love how these actually look like torches because of their tips.
How quickly do they grow? Or does it vary?

Growth can be sped up by target feeding. The have the ability to reach and have a very nasty sting so careful placement is a must.

Okay. That's what I was wondering. I thought I had read about them being nasty stingers. And target feeding them, check. Thanks, I appreciate it.

They like to really stretch out and sting the sh!t out of anything they can touch. I had one for over a year but in a nano it became hard to keep it away from other corals. Sold it, but kep my hammer because it wasn't quite as big.

Capt. Cully I really like that worm brain on the left. Is it teal centers? I have one just like it but green.

Here's mine. I don't know how many heads it is anymore. When I got it from a fellow reefer, it was 5 heads. Now, I have no clue, it never closes. EVER !

The tenticles on it are about 6 inches long.
