Torch NOT looking Well!!!

Here is a pic of my Torch not looking good at all. My question is do I need to take it out or should I see what happens with it? My frogspawn had a issue a few months back and many said it was dead and take it out and it all of a sudden came back and is looking great.

All my perams, temps, salinity are in check and all other corals are looking good.

That looks more like the skeleton of a scolymia or cynarina rather than a torch coral. I would just remove it. Sorry. :(

I have seen euphyllia come back from that state before... its unlikely, but not unheard of. I would leave it until its completely bare. look into why its doing that. Too much light? Dirty water? Something picking on it?

Thanks. I just can't think of what it would be. Like I said I had my frogspawn do the same thing and it came back and looks great. I have my light on the same schedule for 6 months now and I do a weekly water change every single week. I have not noticed anyone picking on it, BUT my goby lately had tended to throw all the rock around it and even on it. I would move it away but that is when it started to retract. The goby would almost bury the torch. Just seemed to have happened rather quickly.

It is a torch and I can see remnants of brown jelly. If that jelly gets on other euphyllias, most likely they will be affected as well. best to syphon that jelly off the coral with a baster and monitor. Honestly if it were me I'd toss it.

Good luck!
