I can never see the difference between this two, a LFS employee even told me they are the same! In general, which one is more prefer by true percula clownfish? Thanks all

Frog tentacle has branches. A lot of branches. Torch might branch once or so, maybe a few tentacles due to damage, but basically it's thinner than frog tentacles, has all its nematocysts on the end, not at several branches midway, and generally is 'hotter' than frog. Frog easily snuggles up to hammer coral. I've heard it said that if you do that with torch it may not work so easily. I'll assume the percs would prefer frog or hammer. All 3 corals are euphyllia, but torch is not as friendly.

They are in the same family but look different, torches have long flowing tenticles frogspawns are short stubby tenacles

If you are looking for something to have your clown host in, a frogspawn is not the best choice. Yeah slim chances it may host but not likely. If you want it to host in anything get a BTA.

I have a big frog and a medium hammer and a pair of black saddleback clowns and they choose the hammer and they sleep near the coral but never disturb it
