So i was going to buy this yellow belly cebu regal angel from blue zoo to pair with mine. It was 1"-1.5" :/ and it was sold while it was in my cart !
Also has anyones regals shown spawning behavior?

When buying juvenile regal angelfish, never buy them based on the color of the breast. ALL Juvenile regal angelfish have yellow breasts, and as they age they either keep it or it fades to grey.

I didnt know that so i guess ill have to wait for a red sea baby so theres a better chance that yellow will stay.

Like michael_cb_125 stated. Look for Red Sea or Maldives as Indian Ocean one's have the yellow belly and Pacific have blue.

One of the wholesalers in LA has/had "Indian Ocean orange regal angels". Very nice, though not small. Might ask your LFS if they can order from Quality Marine...

"They change sex after the cebu stage from what i know"

I am not sure what a cebu stage is? Cebu is a collection point for some of these fish though.

All of the Regal Angelfish are born as females and will change to make when the need arises.

I was thinking cebu for some reason. Sorry i ment to write juvenile.. Which i thought was when they still had that visible dot on the dorsal fin or below a certain size. Thats just what i thought.
