Tough time positioning 6100s

6100's in a 60" x 30" footprint tank (24" deep)

I have read earlier threads with people placing the pumps in the back corners facing opposite front corners. When doing this, I get two extremely high flow regions (right in front of each of the pumps) Where a red turf algae grows and fish can't pick at it because it is too strong of a flow.

Any suggestions to get rid of this problem?

I would try aiming the pumps to the front center and lowering the flow rate on each pump on your controller.
