the girlfriend says all 3 are huddled together under a rock. the lights were off, so i am hoping once they come on the fish will come investigate. i'm going to have her put some food in the water as well.
i will probably tear out the rock tonight so i can get the guys in my QT.

tank is young. the ammonia and nitrites were 0 about 10 days ago. about 5 days i did a 50% water change to get the nitrates down. yesterday i had serdar test my nitrates - they were under 10. i acclimated the fish for 2 hours under t5 actinics. one thing i noticed - the salinity of the fish bag water was 1.015. i think he was in the middle of a water change.
 
wow thats really low. I dident test his water in the bag, but i acclimated for about an hour and half. shot glass change every 3 minutes or so.

Mine hid in there cave till the lights come on. hopefully its paranoia. I think i might have been in the store when u were yesterday unless someone else got there water tested yesterday too (lunchtime ish)

I donno. id retest everything to start with. and go from there. if your waters off tilt a qt isent going to change that since you'd be using the same water...
 
Mine hide in the rock at night as well, but are out a decent part of the day unless spooked. I have Lyretails though.
 
i bought mine around 1-2pm. a lady came in while i was there but she didn't buy any antias.

i have been informed by the girlfriend that all 3 are finally out swimming. they were very squished under the rocks where they were "sleeping" (bare bottom tank).

ps...one carpet surfed but was promptly shown its way back to the water. make sure your tank is covered TK.
 
really? i dident think they were really jumpers. dident read any warnings about em jumping (like u get with gobie discriptions etc)

I was wearing a white coat, have red hair. in my late 20's.

I know I got mine brought them home. they hid alot and they looked great until around 89D, then they start to bloat. I cooked them all when I had the major pump failure 6 months back.
 
I got 3 bartletts from the Phishy about 4 months ago and once they were put in the main tank after QT they hid in the rock for almost 4 days. I have some BIG fish. Now they are out but stay in a "safe" corner. Don't worry to much and they will get food if they are hungry, and slowly get more brave. If they are in a tank with no rock they can't hide but put them in a rocky tank and they pull a Hudinni (sp?)

I still have to empty the old tank, take the light done... i used ALL the kitchen bowls.. so they need washed.... not to mention how wet my carpet and clothes are. everything went ok. not a single coral is where i want it it lmao

I think ill chill till tomorrow. nems made it. im sure they will walk all around tonight finding that perfect flow, so ill be up all night

blea. hope it doesent take another year to get it 'just how i like it' lol

i am home now. they were out swimming but once they noticed me they went and hid behind some rocks. they are pretty shy. hopefully they will come out to eat.

do you think I have 2 males?

i'll have to take a better look at their bellies tomorrow. serdar said even if i get 2 males, they are young enough they still may not have sexed. they haven't been fighting though, so hopefully that is good.
