Trade my 400w for your 250w MH

I have a 400w Coralvue electronic MH ballast w/ 20k SE bulb (3months use on bulb). I would like to trade for your 250w Coralvue or Icecap MH Ballast.

Premium aquatics has dual 250W PFO ballasts on clearance for about $160 each (not electronic, though) - I was looking at downgrading myself, as my new setup came with 3 400 watters. As I've dropped a lot of coin already, I settled with just using 2 of the 400s for now, and have been pleasantly surprised by the penetration and light spread of the 10Ks I just installed. (20s are too blue for me)

Good luck, they do burn up the energy bill!!

Went from 400 Coralvue to 250 Icecaps on my tank and it dropped the bill 100.00 a month. I did have lumax 2 reflector's on the 250 and its made up for the lower wattage.

Wow that is a huge savings. I don't think that helped my thread though oh well lol!!!
