I don't know but Transformers is right up there with Godzilla but at least the kids liked it.

I was never a fan, however my daughter likes robots so I decided to take her to see it.
Some of Spielbergs influence is apparent, but at some point, it's pretty obvious that Bay went back on his rampage.
Same quick pace (read: too much happening in too short a time; jumbling camera work that pans to and from too rapidly. Can't tell what's what), same composer (the music sounds the same for EVERY movie that guy does!)... Same Bay.
I learned long ago that if you wanna ruin any chance to make a movie worth watching, get Michael Bay involved.
I don't mind leaving my brain at the door when I go into a movie theater, but needing a frontal lobotomy is another story...

Lol, yeah Godzilla 2001 wasn't all that good. From what I hear the movie is J.J. Abrams Untitled Project releasing on Jan 18, 2008. Suppose d be about monsters attacking New York and the movie will take place through certain peoples perspective or something of the sort. If you want more info search for the movie title "Cloverfield".
And the Transformer movie was better than I was expecting. Got to see it again.

As I understand it, the reason the Godzilla that came out a few years ago blew so bad is because they didnt actually get the rights to the godzilla character (appearnace, sounds, characters for him to fight)... I think that this untitled project is indeed godzilla... and if JJ is directing it I am confident it is gonna be awesome. Yeah and that sucks cause it may have been a better movie if they did have the rights to it. If the movie is indeed Godzilla, it would be tight, but as of now from what I read and hear it is still untitled and code named Cloverfield. Whatever it is, it is supposed to be revealed at Comicon. All I can say is that did a good job and peeking everyones interest
