transtioning T5 to LEDs (AI Sols)

I'm sticking with MH as main light source. Have T5s for supplements. Any experience or recommended settings for transitioning to LEDs? Decrease photoperiod? Recommended percentage of power to start with? Rate to advance towards full power?

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

I actually does did the same thing. I moved from 2x250 MH to 2x Radions. I used a par meter and matched the intensities. I peak at 90%. I am nearing three weeks. No bleaching or issues....yet.

It has its own controller and I can set the ramp up and ramp down period as well as the percent of intensity with all 3 color bulbs (white, blue, and royal blue). I still have my 250w MHs on from 3-9pm.

I haven't hung them yet but I did begin programming them. I've set the whites to 15%, blues to 30%, and royals to 20% of Max when ramped all the way up. I have the ramp up and down set to like 2 hours each. I think I might be WAY over doing it, but even one frag loss is too many for me.

I wasn't happy with them initially but once I figured out the controller and temporarily trialed them in combo with my T5s and halides, I think its gonna look sick. Crazy shimmer. Moonlight's, moonphases, lighting storms, dawn dusk ramp up and down. Pretty stoked. Their hanging rail system is like $100 for 2 units, so I'm Jerry rigging my own with ratcheting hangers (Sungrips) and $2 worth of hardware from Home Depot. Grand total, $35.
