Travelling Nem

I have an RBTA that has been happy as a clam for 6 months. Tonight, I find this :

No change in flow, parameters are great, nothing really has changed. I just want to keep him away from the powerheads below him.

I did unplug that powerhead for tonight, I just want to know why it is suddenly unhappy and moving towards the powerhead.

Mine was happy as can be for the longest time on his perch and he took off moving to the closest crevice rock area and setup shop. He's literally sitting with a power head pointed straight at him. He enjoys the heavier water flow for whatever reason. The lighting distance is almost the same also.

Mine is large and when it moves and resettles, it is a really annoying because I have to move corals out of its destination.

mine has moved around a lot too, does not really seem to be a reason for it other than they like to cruise sometimes.

Same boat here, my 125 rbta's have been in the same spot for years. But the 40g just started moving two weeks ago and won't stop, stays somewhere for all of a few days then off to **** off another coral [emoji848]

And the worst part is he will end up back where he started lol. Just takes a while for him to realize he had prime real estate [emoji6]

That seems to be the case here, too. After three days, he (she?) has settled down a whopping 1" away from where it started. Covered about 75% of the tank in the travels, but came back to rest on another facet of the same rock...

Must be similar to my wife moving the furniture around in the living room every 4 weeks like clockwork...

I just brought home a new nem. Like yours mine just up and started moving. Didn't think much of it,then it crawld right to to a power head just like the one in the pic.WATCH OUT it can fit in and good by nem.
