Travelling Zoas

I was wondering if anybody had any ideas about how to transport a frag of zoas on an airplane.

I would probably put them in a thermos and place it in my checked luggage. With all these new restrictions on bringing liquids on board I wouldn't rist trying to bring them on as carry-on because if they stop you you are given two chioces: Throw them out or turn around and go home. Try calling the airline and see what they say.

Yep carry on the only way, make SURE you tell security exactly what it is or they will open it and dump it out.

You can always put them into a bag wrapped in saltwater dampened paper towels or newspaper... Thats a good way to transport zoathids and get around the liquid restriction... I would prefer to carry them on as you don't know the temperature variations of the cargo hold... :)

The cargo bay is pressurized and does get @ freezing on flight that reach altitudes of 30+ thousand feet. Perishable items are...ARE supposed to be carried in another place but most of time don't.
Your corals can be shipped freight also.
