Hi all
Hi all my fish has white spot disease so today i start use para guard for seacham. I wonder is nessesary switch off my protien skimmer. My tank volume is 150 gallon

Paraguard will not work with probably which is Ich. Your best method is to do the TTM and take all the fish out and let your tank go fallow for at least 72 possibly longer.

My tank is only marine fish
ParaGuardâ„¢
Eradicates ectoparasites and fungal, bacterial, and viral lesions
Safer to dose than formaldehyde, formalin, and methanol
Will not adversely effect bio-filter

Description

ParaGuardâ„¢ is the only fish and filter safe aldehyde based (10% by weight) parasite control product available (for parasites on fish). Unlike highly toxic and difficult to use formalin based medications, ParaGuardâ„¢ contains no formaldehyde or methanol and will not alter pH. ParaGuardâ„¢ employs a proprietary, synergistic blend of aldehydes, malachite green, and fish protective polymers that effectively and efficiently eradicates many ectoparasites (e.g. ich, etc.) and external fungal/bacterial/viral lesions (e.g., fin rot). It is particularly useful in hospital and receiving tanks for new fish and whenever new fish are introduced to a community tank.

This is what seachem says but I will assure you that it won't cure the fish of ich. Get some chloroquine phosphate and dose per directions

Which "white spot disease"? White spots can be a symptom of several vastly different diseases or parasite infections.

Your best bet is to dose with Cupramine.

Copper is the worst of all possible choices in almost every case.
If it is ich, better treatments are TTM (few fish) or hyposalinity (many fish).
If it is velvet, Chloroquine is pretty much the only failsafe medication. Unfortunately it is toxic to certain fish families (Pipefish, seahorses, and certain families of wrasses), copper may or may not help.

Para guitars doesn't treat ich.

I love the auto correct function, but sometimes it creates some really funny things :D
