Treating zoa tank with Furan 2

I am experiencing problems with some of my zoas, not all. I have well over 200 different ones and most are small to large colonies. I recently fragged some of them just to trim the overgrowth and that seems to have sparked some type of problem where now I have some melting.

My most valuable colony has melted halfway and currently only has a single polyp open. The ones that remain un-melted are tightly shut and have some brown/dark green algae on the outside of the polyps. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with using Furan 2 as an entire tank treatment. All that is in there are zoas and a few different kinds of clove polyps. Theres only 2 fish (a wrasse & pygmy angel) and about 20-30 turbo snails (which I can remove if need-be).

Any thoughts or recommendations?

browse the threads about furan use. NEVER use in main tank only as a dip or if in a hospital tank.

Its only used for zoapox. I wouldn't recommend using it if you don't have pox.

what are your water parameters?
