Tree fell, no power

So another power outage thread.

Tree fell around the block from me and wiped out power since 3am. My tank is ok, just swishing the water around, temp is around 76 degrees.

Stupid me didn't charge my batter backup air pumps! They're supposed to last 14 hours or more, but I didn't have them charged. Dumb dumb dumb.

I'm charging them now at work, and i'll bring them back home at 5 to hopefully save it all.

anyone else have any power problems after the strong wind gusts?

yeah... i'm setting up a frag tank downstairs to hold all my coral, and then I'm going to cook my rock (too much hair algae, and flatworms).

Then you can buy my m-tank

whey not get like that flatworm exit stuff, and some emeralds, i want that rock! lol, can you spare some pieces? i need some more rock in my 13.5, and im setting up a pico(1.7 hex lit by my MHs overspill)

I probably will be keeping the rock. It's REALLY old rock that I got from an extremely well established tank (exact years not too sure). The shapes are fantastic, and I'd like to just get rid of all the pests and start over with them.

btw, power is back on according to my sister who went by my house to pickup her labradoodle (who was visiting) and turned on all my tanks again. (lighting timers are off though, haven't hooked up the ac III yet).

sounds like everything's still alive =) temp never dropped below 76 degrees either.

thats great, keep the rock, use it as base or something on another for your fabulous tanks, but the M-tank is mine!!! lol
