Hello

I purchased some Tricolor riccodia (3) about 6 month ago.
They have gotten a little bigger but not spreadind at all ... are the slow growers?

I have a 30 long
150 HQI 10 inches above tank
55 X 2 actinics
Lots of flow

Feed Phyto and Cyclop eez
Water quality is good A (0) Rites (0) Rates (0) Po4 (und)
Sump / Refugium
Anyone on have any ideas on this Thanks.

You're not alone in this situation. I too have the same type ricordia and the growth is S L O W. I started with 1 polyp about 18 months ago, I'm now up to a whopping 3 polyps. All this in a tank where I can see daily growth in some of my SPS, so I doubt it's a water quality issue. I too would love to know an answer to this perplexing question.

My best, somewhat educated guess is that some other coral in my tank is better able to quickly utilize certain trace elements, and leaving the ricordia wanting.
