Tricky problem

Thanks again! I will add the probe in the meantime. Then take breaks with it to check my equipment and come back to this thread periodically to report any progress.

I noticed a funny thing. Today the sps seemed to to have a bit more color and PE...IDK could some of the voltage have been discharged, or is it just a better day than yesterday?

LOL, so true! Although I don't being shocked that much....

OK so some before pics to show what I was getting before this problem.

I have continued to see improved color on most of my SPS. I have not tested for stray voltage and have left the probe in place for the time being as I have been too busy to test each item for causing the stray voltage, although I did toss a heater because it was cracked. I have begun shortening my photoperiod because of a few threads where the merits of it were discussed. I have also started dosing Brightwell 2-part in addition to my kalkwasser top-off to bring up my calcium and alkalinity. So I am having amazing growth but still not the colors I am after. I have considered adding a bulb with more red/yellow because of what I have read about how it might fool some coral into thinking they are closer to the surface and then add more color for sunscreen purposes. I might wait a month or two until I need to replace my bulbs again.

Sorry about the delay, I was in DC with my students for a field trip most of last week.
