tridacna clam

I have a blue tridacna clam wich is about 5 inches big. i had him for about 8 months now, he released from the rock last night and fell is it normal, can i get some help about it please. my water levels are all good

What fish and inverts do you have?

From the sounds of it the clam wasnt' liking the spot or you have something in there that is bugging it.

We can help you ID it too but if you wish to look into ways to ID clams you can do so here.

I have 3 yellow tangs, 3 fire flame gobbies, 1 lawnmower belleny, 2 ocellairs clown fish and next to it but not tuching i have red mushrooms
